After recent backlash over whether Tess Holliday’s Cosmopolitan U.K. cover promotes obesity, one plus-size model is asking trolls to mind their own business.

Model Paloma Elsesser is calling out trolls for attacking plus-size women by recommending a “healthier” lifestyle.

The 26-year-old, who is a size 16, appeared on the back of the controversial Cosmo issue — and she wants critics to know that her health and clothing size doesn’t concern them.

“It’s never their business. My health is not their business. Don’t you think I know how to eat clean?” she said to Sunday Times Style. “Like, you should cut out sugar.”

Luckily, Elsesser says her followers typically take care of the cruel comments.

I don’t get a lot of trolls, and if I do, the army comes for them!”

The plus size model, who works with brands like Fenty Beauty, Tiffany & Co and Nike Women, believes representation in mainstream media is important.

It’s important for bodies like mine to be a part of a new set of imagery for people to digest,” she said.

I want brands to see plus bodies in different spaces. You can use your imagery to be a muse and inspire another brand, who can be like: ‘Let’s do it. Let’s figure it out’.”

In 2012, Holliday founded the @effyourbeautystandards campaign to promote beauty in all shapes and sizes. The campaign has more than 398,000 followers and regularly promotes female empowerment, regardless of size — a notion Elsesser also supports.

“Everybody deserves to have access, everybody deserves to be respected, and we all want to feel good,” she said. “It shouldn’t have to be so hard.”
