Sold out in first few hours, Panera to restock limited-edition Holiday Soup Cups
Panera Bread is restocking limited-edition holiday bowls after the product sold out on its launch day last week.
Panera released its Holiday Soup Cups on Wednesday and within a few hours, the cups, which come in three different styles, were sold out. The cups will be restocked on the Panera Bread Shop Tuesday. They are only available for purchase online and will be shipped in mid-December.
The collection features three soup cups, with mug-like handles for $10. Each purchase also comes with a $20 Panera Bread gift card. The cups feature dainty symbols representing Panera's broccoli and cheddar soup, tomato soup and its famous bread bowl.
Fans can sign up to with an email address be notified when the cups become available on the Panera Bread Shop website.
Panera launches 2 new winter soups
If you're looking to try a new soup, Panera has launched two this winter season.
The new Hearty Fireside Chili features beef, kidney beans, fire-roasted tomatoes, green chili peppers, all simmered in a broth with chilis and cilantro.
And the new Rustic Baked Potato Soup is made with potatoes, bacon, Monterey Jack cheese and chives, toped with asiago cheese. For the chilly season, Panera also brought back its Autumn Squash Soup, made with butternut squash, pumpkin, vegetable broth, honey, apple juice, cinnamon, curry, topped with sweet cream and roasted, salted pumpkin seeds.
For the holiday season, Panera is also offering a bonus $10 gift card for every $50 gift card purchase through Dec. 31.
