I Tried the $2 Trader Joe's Bubbly, and I Totally Get the Hype
I know so many people who always need to have a specific drink in their hand, whether that’s an iced coffee or other energy drink, or one of those trendy new sodas. Any of these drinks can easily be enjoyed all year long — but sometimes you want something special for the season. And for me, that’s got to be Trader Joe’s Sparkling Honeycrisp Apple Juice. It’s my new go-to fall drink!
What’s So Great About Trader Joe’s Sparkling Honeycrisp Apple Juice?
The beloved grocer’s Sparkling Honeycrisp Apple Juice only has three ingredients: honeycrisp apple juice, water, and carbon dioxide.
Right when I took my first sip, it felt like the drink almost began sparkling on my tongue. Every single sip after that tasted like apple-y goodness. Sometimes carbonated fruity drinks like this struggle to hit the mark on the fruit part, either because the flavor is barely there or it’s overwhelmingly artificial-tasting. Not Trader Joe’s Sparkling Honeycrisp Apple Juice! It tastes like actual apple juice, which I credit to its simple, small list of ingredients.
What’s the Best Way to Enjoy Trader Joe’s Sparkling Honeycrisp Apple Juice?
I drank my sparkling apple juice straight from the can, opening it while I ate my lunch and then sipping on it for around an hour afterward. I only needed one to satisfy my thirst for something carbonated and sweet.
I also think you could easily mix this sparkling apple juice with something else for a cocktail or mocktail (for example, @amandamaehome went with salted caramel sauce and vodka), or drink it alone if you want some simple, fun and bubbly magic during the holidays.
