Nytillverkad: Old souls in new suits
Call this Ikea's retro collection. Revisit bold patterns, optimistic shapes and unconventional solutions with the third edition of Nytillverkad, in celebration of Ikea's 80th anniversary.
'At the end of the 1960s, change was in the air. Youth culture, pop music and protests made their mark on the world and the Ikea range. New materials such as painted particleboard and plastic made it possible to create furniture with a youthful expression, far from the heavy woods of the 1950s,' says Ikea.
The collection includes the relaunch of its famous 'anti-stress' armchair from 1967, as well as the popular Epok rug from 1958.
Utsådd: For pet lovers
Buy something for your four-legged friends with Ikea' first ever pet collection. Two years in the making, Utsådd aims to simplify and brighten up life at home with pets, focusing on four different activities: eat, sleep, play and hide.
The collection includes colourful ceramic food bowls, a double-sided anti-slip placemat, water-repellent and machine-washable soft blankets and beds, and much more.
'At Ikea, we believe that pets are family. Our goal was to develop a collection of products that our cats and dogs love and that their human parents can feel good about and truly enjoy having as part of their home,' says Julia Rosenberg, product design developer at Ikea of Sweden AB.
Nytillverkad: 4th edition
The fourth edition of the Nytillverkad collection celebrates the spirit of floral motifs, boldness, and creativity of the 60s and 70s. One highlight is the Önnestad armchair, a modern take on the iconic Gogo — a steel-tube easy chair that was first introduced in the Ikea catalogue in 1972.
'We are excited to bring back these beloved designs and introduce them to a new generation of customers,' says Karin Gustavsson, creative leader of the Nytillverkad collection. 'With the new colourful and bold edition of products, we hope to inspire creative experiments, courage, and positivity in homes around the world.'
Bröggan: Entertaining made easy
The sun is sneaking up from behind the clouds, which means summer is nearly here! Ikea's Bröggan collection has everything you need for alfresco feasts, including tablecloths, cushion covers, bowls and mugs. Geometric shapes in green and yellow feature on hosting essentials, while 60s-inspired glassware makes it easy to create a beautiful tablescape.
Tesammans: A riot of colour
Colour lovers, this one is for you! Ikea's limited edition Tesammans collection, created in collaboration with Dutch design duo Raw Color, features a beautiful ridged storage side table, a three-tier lampshade, and a lavender carafe.
House Beautiful were invited to see the collection first-hand, unveiled during Paris Fashion Week at the Ikea+ exhibition at Rue de Lappe in the Bastille district. You can read all about it here.
Dajlien: Workout wonders

The Dajlien collection is described as 'smart, multi-functional training gear' ideal for those who lack space for bulky equipment or are put off by 'ugly or expensive workout products'.
Daksjus: Ready, set, grow
From trailing varieties to easy-to-care-for options, indoor plants can soften the harshest of rooms and add character to spaces you're otherwise unable to change.
Daksjus is a new collection for everyone who enjoys planting and growing, with plant stands, pots, and accessories to allow for fuss-free indoor gardening with little maintenance.
