It’s going to cost more to visit Disney World for the holidays next year
First Disneyland, now Walt Disney World is raising prices.
Annual pass prices jumped between $30 to $100 overnight, depending on pass type, and newly released tickets for November and December 2025 hit new highs. Magic Kingdom tickets will top out at $199 on select dates next holiday season, $10 more than this year’s most expensive tickets.
Park prices for the rest of 2025, which were revealed earlier this year, remain unchanged.

How much is a ticket to Disney World?
Disney World tickets vary by both date and park, with more popular dates and parks being more expensive. Magic Kingdom is not only the most popular park at Disney World, but it's the most visited theme park in the world.
Prices for one-day, one-park tickets for guests over age 9:

◾ EPCOT: $129-$194
◾ Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $139-$194
◾ Magic Kingdom: $139-$199
Animal Kingdom’s 2025 starting price is higher than this year’s low of $109 but on par with Universal Orlando Resort pricing. On most dates, ticket prices are significantly higher than starting prices but lower than the very top prices, which represent a few select dates around the holidays.
How much are Disney tickets for Christmas 2024?
The most expensive time of year to visit Disney World is typically the week of Thanksgiving and the week of Christmas through New Year’s Day.

Is there a way to get Disney tickets cheaper?
Guests planning to spend more than one day in the parks will almost always save money buying multiday tickets. The more days added, the cheaper the average price per day.
To find the least expensive dates, which for 2025 are in August and September, simply scroll through Disney World’s online ticket calendar.
There's also almost always some kind of promotion available for multiday vacations. Travelers can find the latest deals on Disney World’s Special Offers webpage, which is currently offering up to $200 off per night on three-night, two-day vacation packages and up to 25% off hotel stays for early next year.
All next year, guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection hotels will get free Disney water park entry on their check-in date. Tickets to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach water parks typically start at $64 for guests over age 9.
This year’s promotions included a 3-Day, 3-Park Magic Ticket and 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket, which brought admission down to as low as $89 per day over the summer. Other deals have included discounted hotel stays, free Park Hopper perks, and for Disney+ subscribers and Disney Visa card holders, free Disney Dining Plans with select vacation packages.
Special promos are also available for Florida residents, annual pass holders, and military service members.
Authorized third parties like AAA, Undercover Tourist, and Getaway Today may offer other deals like adult tickets at child prices, but don’t expect anything too dramatic. Travelers should also pay attention to terms and conditions when booking through third parties, who may not always have as much flexibility as booking directly through Disney.

What are the different types of Disney passes?
There are four types of annual passes at Disney World.
Most guests are only eligible for the top-tier Disney Incredi-Pass, which has no blockout dates.
Members of Disney Vacation Club, which is like Disney’s version of timeshares, and Florida residents may buy the Disney Sorcerer Pass, which has select blockout dates around Thanksgiving and the holidays.
Florida residents are also eligible for the Disney Pirate Pass and weekday-only Disney Pixie Pass, which have additional blockout dates.
An admission calendar on Disney’s website shows all the available dates for each annual pass type.
How much does an annual Disney pass cost?
Annual passes range from $469 to $1549.
The current annual pass model was introduced in Sept. 2021. Sales were largely paused in Nov. 2021 amid the COVID-19 pandemic, then resumed in April 2023. Prices last rose in Oct. 2023 before rising again overnight.

Is there a Disney annual pass for all parks?
No. There used to be a Disney Premier Passport for both Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California, but it was discontinued during the pandemic.
Disneyland’s version of annual passes, called Magic Keys, can’t be used at Disney World and vice versa.
