The internet is loving Amy Schumer's National Bikini Day photo

July 6 marked National Bikini Day, and amongst the sea of celebrities who stripped off to display their tight abs across social media, Amy Schumer shared a confident snap we’re loving.

“National bikini day! #wherewasmyparisfashionweekinvite,” she captioned alongside a photo of her spread out on a patio lounge chair, rocking a blue-patterned bikini and a black baseball cap.

The photo garnered nearly 200,000 likes in less than 24 hours, with big-name celebs like Lena Dunham to Demi Lovato liking the photo, with Lovato commenting “This is everything.”

Schumer’s fans praised the comedian for having the confidence to share such an honest photo.

“I’m laughing SO hard right now from this epic pose! Vogue.”

“You go girl! She could definitely rock a size 6, I mean 7, wait no 8…. this coming from a guy who wears a 38! Love Amy!!!!”

“Love this girl….. perfection.”

“OMG you are one of the best at keeping it real.. love your work.”

And Perez Hilton may have had the best response of all.

However, a few naysayers who thought the 36-year-old went a little too far.

Other celebs who stripped down for National Bikini Day include plus-size model Ashley Graham. Looking as gorgeous as ever, the supermodel rocked a leopard-print Swimsuits for All Number as she smiled into the camera.

“Here’s my favorite piece of travel advice – Never forget a bikini, you never know where you’ll end up,” the 29-year-old beauty captioned the photo.

Graham has proven to be one of the world’s most sought after supermodels, already gracing the pages of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition, as well as Vogue, and even showcasing her sensational curves as an ambassador and designer for the swimwear brand Swimsuitsforall — but the 29-year-old admittedly still gets shy when she hits the beach.

“I mean, of course like any girl when you get to the beach or the pool and you go, ‘Oh, I have to take my cover-up off, crap.’ And you feel like everybody’s watching, and then you just go, ‘Oh fine, I’ll just take it off,’ ” Graham said in a recent interview with People. “And then all of a sudden you get comfortable and go, ‘OK. Another piña colada.’”

And who can forget Elizabeth Hurley? The 52-year-old is no stranger to showing off her stunning bikini body, and she looked as fit as ever in this red bikini selfie.
