Tanner Fletcher Fall 2025: Continuing a Vintage-meets-modern Design Ethos
Tanner Richie and Fletcher Kasell continued their vintage-inspired design aesthetic for fall 2025, leveraging their signature motifs and design codes and updating them with new styles in dresses, outerwear and knitwear.
“It’s kind of the same recipe every season,” Kasell said about the vintage inspiration. “It’s like interiors, vintage and decades. This season particularly, the 1930s and ‘40s come in a lot. The inspiration for the clothes will always be the same essentially. We’re really learning how to balance the commercial versus evening and more fancy. This [collection] has a lot of more commercial options that are wearable.”

The collection showed the designers’ strengths in making vintage pieces feel cool and modern. There were dainty lace-detailed polka dot skirts paired with chunky knit sweaters, structured cardigans paired with light wash denim and knitted vests embellished with buttons.
The designers took inspiration from a vintage quilt for several styles, utilizing a similar fabric for dresses and jackets that were embellished with a hand-placed, ribbon floral detail. The pieces reflected the designers’ ability to leverage their vintage interior design inspiration and make wearable pieces that feel relevant and unique.
As their business continues to grow, the designers introduced new dress silhouettes and expanded casual styles for their newer distribution partners. While the pieces, such as silky off-the-shoulder dresses and cozy knitwear, were more commercial, they still embodied the brand’s whimsical nature and vintage feel.
Overall, the collection showed Richie and Kasell’s ability to continue to bring newness to their vintage inspiration and a preview of how their brand can continue building out its various categories.
