The AKC National Championship is the "only all-breed dog show organized and presented directly by the AKC, the nation's oldest and only not-for-profit purebred dog registry," according to the organization.

The 2024 show features over 5,600 dogs from 50 states and dozens of breeds competing for the Best in Show title and a $50,000 cash prize.
