Here’s when 11 grocery store & pharmacy chains will be open on July 4th in the Hilton Head area
The summer’s main holiday is nearly here.
Last-minute shopping trips before a family and friends barbecue or 4th of July party frequently become necessary amid such gatherings, events and celebrations. Whether you’ve forgotten to get a necessary ingredient, needing to pick up a catering order or there is a last-minute guest joining your celebrations, Independence Day certainly isn’t exempt from the holiday mania.
With July 4th being a national holiday, many places may not be open on the official day or will have limited hours, while many others will have set hours.
Meanwhile, post offices will be closed on Thursday, meaning no mail will be delivered on the federal holiday.
Here are the hours of operation for local grocery stores and pharmacies in Beaufort County on the 4th of July.
Aldi
Will close at 4 p.m.
CVS
Will be open during normal operating hours.
Food Lion
Will be open normal operating hours.
Kroger
Will be open during normal operating hours, but may change to limited hours depending on the location.
Publix
Will follow normal operating hours.
Piggly Wiggly at Coligny Plaza
Will be open from 7:30 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Sam’s Club
Will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. for Plus Members.
Target
Will be open during normal operating hours.
Walgreens
Will be open during normal operating hours.
Walmart
Will follow normal operating hours.
Whole Foods
Will follow normal operating hours.
