“The Skinny Confidential”'s Lauryn Bosstick Is Pregnant and Expecting Baby No. 3 with Husband Michael (Exclusive)
The couple also have daughter Zaza, 4, and son Townes, 2
Lauryn Bosstick's family is growing.
The founder of The Skinny Confidential, co-founder of Dear Media and co-host of The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Show, is pregnant and expecting her third baby with husband Michael Bosstick. The couple tells PEOPLE exclusively that they're "incredibly grateful" to be adding another little one to their family.
"While listening to Tim Ferriss' podcast as I was organizing my closet, I randomly took a pregnancy test!" Lauryn, 38, shares of discovering she is pregnant. "When I saw the result, I immediately went downstairs and told my daughter Zaza, who's 4, and my son Townes, who's 2."
"We made a plan to do something creative to surprise my husband, Michael," she continues. "Zaza used her Eloise stationery to draw a little card with Townes and we put the test in there. He was ecstatic. Michael has always loved the idea of a big family."

Although the couple waited to tell family and friends their exciting news, they decided to slowly surprise all their loved ones over Christmas. Lauryn shares that she's been lucky so far since her pregnancy has been "relatively smooth."
"Watching my body change with each pregnancy is always an adjustment, and I've tried to be open about that journey," she tells PEOPLE. "After finally losing the 60 pounds I gained during my second pregnancy, I've learned it's possible to feel both incredibly grateful for being pregnant and a bit anxious about the changes — it can be overwhelming at times."
"This time around, I've been very intentional about sticking to my routine: lifting weights, eating plenty of protein and taking lots of walks. Cravings have been quite the variety — meat bowls (IYKYK), pâté (duck liver!), hummus, sour candy (like REALLY sour), tangerines, sourdough toast and blueberry lemon Greek yogurt...and I may or may not have Postmated Krispy Kreme donuts at 11 p.m. the other night."
As they prepare to become older siblings, Lauryn's daughter and son are handling the change in different ways.
"Zaza, with her usual straightforwardness, informed me that if the baby turns out to be a boy, she'd like to 'return' him — she's firmly requesting a girl," Lauryn jokes. "Meanwhile Townes, though not fully grasping the situation, has been extra clingy with his mom — which I absolutely adore."
"He's such a little ham. Our home has always been my sanctuary and I'm cherishing this final stretch of pregnancy. It's such a joy to nest together as we prepare to transform from a family of four into a family of five."
With only a few months until her family's newest member arrives, Lauryn says she's "thrilled" to become a mom of three.
"We're incredibly grateful to be parents and deeply value having a solid family unit," she shares. "It's without a doubt the most important thing in my life."
"Balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship takes a lot of juggling, but as we prepare to welcome baby number three, I couldn't be more thrilled to embrace the adventure of adding another little human into the fold. I love a challenge."
